A first post

I'm trying to crawl out of lurkdom into the world of people who can speak publicly on the web. Maybe I can't. But maybe needing to have something to say will serve as motivation to get stuff done. I certainly won't be the first to use a blog for that. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
